Golf Club Ibar is an award winning development located on the outskirts of Dolna Banya in Bulgaria. It is just 20 minutes drive from Bulgaria’s premier ski resort – Borovets, and approx 50 minutes from Sofia, the capital and its international airport.

Bulgaria, having joined the European Community in January 2007, is undergoing significant change, Golf Club & Spa Ibar is the first Nicklaus design golf course in South Eastern Europe: boasting an 18 hole PGA Championship golf course with adjoining par 3 course, full practice facilities and driving range, it will meet the needs of any discerning golfer, regardless of handicap.

A total of 450 properties will be constructed on this exclusive development, with only owners and their guests, plus tenants, being eligible to play on the course.

In July 2007, a group of the very first owners decided to form a Residents Association to provide a means of exchanging views, ideas, concerns and experiences to enhance the owners enjoyment of the development, foster a community spirit, and open up a means of communication with the developers on a variety of issues.

The Residents Association has been welcomed by the developers, who have stated:

You have our full support for establishing a Residents Association in order to develop good working relationship and communicate closely with your members to exchange ideas, concerns and proposals for the common good of Golf Club Ibar and its property owners.’
